Let me declare the measure of love I have for thee.
Let us sit beneath those grand oak trees,
And talk about the things we've planned,
Let's walk along the soft, warm sand.
Allow me to show to thee a place I love,
Where I've shared my sins with the One above.
Reveal to me your secret dreams,
The ones you hope to set you free
And send you far away from here,
But bring you back on nights so clear.
Still, we lay, quiet as we watch the stars,
Hoping that those secret dreams will lead us there and take us far.

With eyes so wide that sparkle bright,
